Posted by Houston Wedding Photographer Scott Villalobos | Adam & Gretal’s wedding on Saturday was beautiful despite the record temps at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church. It was one of those intimate weddings with family and a few close friends. Everybody had a great time - especially Jordan, Adam’s son. He became quite the comedian and DJ during the reception. See him pictured with dad doing his tie and holding the ring. Congratulations Gretal & Adam!

Last time I shot at this venue the mother of the bride took quite a spill when she got up to read her scriptures. I’m happy to report this event went off without a hitch.

This little guy kept his eyes on me the whole time.

You would never know by looking at her but just before this shot Gretal had this kinda freaked out look on her face when she asked me, “Is there a bug on me?” She turned around and I took a look. Oh My GAWD!! I thought to myself. “Did you ever see Cloverfield?” I asked as I hit the Godzilla sized gorilla bug off her back with my camera. I had to step on it twice to kill it and even then I could hear it hissing at me – YIKES! Welcome to Houston I guess…

This was the last shot of the day, notice the wilted boutonniere – Yikes it was hot!
Gretal & Adam I wish you the best! However I still get chills just thinking about the whole Monster bug incident.
The photographs are spectacular! What a beautiful bride and groom. I am so happy for Gretal and Adam and their sweet children. It was a very nice ceremony and we all had fun at the reception with family and friends.
Thank you.
