I had the honor of photographing Megan Preston this afternoon at the Enchanted Cypress Ballroom. I was pleasently suprised by the beauty of this venue, the pictures I’d seen on the internet did not do it justice. Megan looked fabulous and Andrea Lynn was more then hospitable as we moved chairs, flowers, and lamps around to create this portfolio of stunning images. I can’t wait for the wedding!

Whitney’s bridal session was the icing on my back to back to back weekend of events cake. We met at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for her bridal shoot Sunday afternoon. She was picture perfect as we traversed the different settings of the Plaza. Unfortunately she wasn’t feeling well, (I know, she sure looks amazing but I assure you she felt like crap!) so unfortunately we had to end our session early. I would have loved to spend more time with her but her ship was sinking faster then the Titanic. (don’t worry Whitney – I’ll never let go!! LOL) But all is not lost, I will be spending an extra hour with her the day of her wedding to make up for the missed shots. Look for her wedding pics the middle of November!

I got a call from one of those big companies that I work for with a last second bridal offer. Apparently the other photographer had an emergency and couldn’t make it. I was in my PJ’s with morning breath all over my head and the shoot was in an hour and a half and it was over an hour drive away. So I hopped into the shower of power did the three minute scrub from head to toe, grabbed my gear and out the door. Was only 30 minutes later then the scheduled photographer. To my surprise the venue was to die for, a real photographers paradise, then the bride walks in – a little stressed from the last minute cancelation – and she looks like a combination of Megan Fox and Jennifer Connely. My head is swimming with ideas but we only have an hour to shoot. The bride gets dressed and we get to work, the following images are the result of everything coming together at the last possible minute. (That rarely happens right?) Anyways, Jennifer was stunning and her fiance, Tom is one lucky guy. Congratulations Jennifer you rocked it |Posted by Houston Wedding Photographer Scott Villalobos

Yesterday I shot Elizabeth’s bridal session here is a sneek peek at the highlights. Her florist is Donna Luce of www.flowersforyourwedding.net. Her hair was done by Stacey Celestine. Dress came from Weddings by Debbie here in Houston. The wedding is less then a month away and well be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with reception at the Crown Plaza. | Posted by Houston Wedding Photographer Scott Villalobos

Shannon’s bridal session from last night. She choose the Marriott located in the Houston Galleria area as her backdrop. The hotel was as beautiful as it was diverse and the management treated us very well, showing extra-ordinary kindness to us. | Posted by Houston Wedding Photographer Scott Villalobos

Posted by Houston Wedding Photographer Scott Villalobos | Herman park was the perfect backdrop for Kate Elvig’s bridal session. We started out at the Gazebo across from the Cancer Memorial then we moved into the trees along Main Street Across from Rice University. Next we moved to the Cancer Memorial for that Grecko Roman goddess look, and finally we waited in the smouldering Houston humidity for the sun to set in front of the Sam Houston Monument.
Kate’s hair by Mabel of Pyramids Hair Salon 281-744-4607; Makeup by Georgia Marrow 713-542-4508, Flowers by Houstonian Flowery 281-752-4060. Dress, David’s Bridal in the Galleria area. Kate will be married to Chad Heimerman on September 19th, 2009 so stay tunned for those images.

Congratulations Kate!
